World Tapering Day 2023

My name is Marieke; I do Admin, Twitter and support for World Tapering Day and World Tapering Org. I have many years of personal experience using and tapering Venlafaxine. This drug has cost me huge problems; unto this day I still have not been able to taper completely.
 

For me, helping other people handle and taper psych drugs has become an important part of my life. Sometimes, it can make me really upset that, like so many other volunteers in support groups, I am clearing up the mess made by the medical and pharmaceutical establishment…. If I could change everything today, I would!

Realistically, I have to settle for working one step at a time, because it’s all I can do. At the same time, I strive towards balance and harmony in my own mind and body.
